A few years ago I created this Geisha costume. It was an easy costume to create, but required a lot of fabric for Kimono.

This picture is an actual picture from my office Halloween party, with everyone else cut out.

Fabric:

I purchased fabric at Michaels fabric store. I chose it to be a little shine to stand out. You can use any fabric

To Start: Sizing

Take your largest around measurement (hips, waist or bust). Divide this number by three. That is the minimum width for your panels. For many of us, we will be able to get two panels out of standard 45" fabric. Each panel will be about 22" wide.
